Criar uma casa de sonho para promoção imobiliária num terreno com localização idílica, parece à partida um trabalho facilitado ao arquiteto. No entanto, para este estudo prévio, os desafios eram enormes, dados os constrangimentos ambientais e de inserção no local de Reserva Natural.

A área de implantação do edifício existente não poderia ser alterada e ter-se-ia que promover uma arquitetura integrada na arquitetura rural local, em termos de materialidade e escala.

A proposta visa a integração no local e potencia o habitar e o aproveitar do local com uma grande riqueza de fauna, onde os flamingos pontuam a paisagem do Sapal de Castro Marim.

Creating a dream home for real estate development on an idyllic plot of land initially seems like an easy task for the architect. However, for this schematic design, the challenges were enormous, given the environmental constraints and the location of the site in the Nature Reserve.

The implantation of the existing building could not be altered, and an intervention integrated with the local rural architecture, in terms of materials and scale, would have to be developed.

The proposal aims for the integration in the site and to enhance the dwelling and enjoyment of the area, which boasts a great wealth of fauna, where flamingos dot the landscape of the Castro Marim Marshland.
