Collective Housing Project, Ramalde
The project is based on the merger of two lots, each facing two distinct streets in the city of Porto, to construct a collective housing building with 18 appartments ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom apartments. The proposal is to make the best possible use of the available area, taking into account the significantly reduced street frontage and large backyard space.
The building will consist of two volumes facing the streets, connected in the basement, which will align with the adjacent buildings to ensure appropriate urban, landscape, and architectural integration. The architectural language is characterized by simple lines, white color, and wooden details around the openings and recessed balconies, creating a play of volumes and empty spaces.
All apartments have private outdoor space, either balconies, terraces, or patios. The building’s value is further enhanced by a large, permeable courtyard, which serves as a living and leisure space for residents.
The project is currently in the licensing phase, and we hope to see it completed soon.
