Projeto Moradia, Lugar do Paço, Melgaço

No Lugar do Paço, concelho de Melgaço, fomos desafiados a desenhar uma moradia para uma jovem família num terreno rústico de cultivo com grande declive, que desce em relação à cota do arruamento, virando-se para a paisagem natural do Vale do Mouro.

Devido à inclinação do terreno, a implantação da construção encontra-se abaixo do nível da rua, e desenvolve-se em L, no seguimento da topografia existente. A moradia de tipologia T3 é composta por dois pisos, um acima da cota de soleira e outro abaixo da cota de soleira, semienterrado.

As áreas sociais e privadas localizam-se no piso 0, voltando-se para a paisagem. O piso da cave fecha-se na área da garagem, abrindo-se na área do salão para um terraço exterior para usufruto do espaço verde e da paisagem circundante.

Housing Project, Lugar do Paço, Melgaço

In Lugar do Paço, Melgaço, we were challenged to design a home for a young family on a rustic farmland with a steep slope, which descends down from the street level, opening onto the natural landscape of the Vale do Mouro.

Due to the slope of the land, the building is located below street level and has an L-shape, following the existing topography. The three-bedroom house consists of two floors, one above the threshold level and the other below the threshold level, semi-underground.

The social and private areas are located on the ground floor, overlooking the landscape. The basement floor closes off the garage area, opening onto an outdoor terrace in the living room area, for enjoying the green space and the surrounding landscape.
