Projeto Moradia, Guifões

O projeto para esta moradia localiza-se num dos últimos lotes vazios do loteamento em Guifões, Matosinhos, numa área residencial de baixa densidade urbana. A implantação da casa segue os alinhamentos previstos pelo loteamento, onde as casas estão ligeiramente recuadas em relação à rua, criando um espaço de pátio exterior de chegada na frente do lote e um logradouro no tardoz.

A habitação é constituía por 2 pisos. No rés-do-chão situam-se as zonas socias com ligação direta ao espaço de jardim nas traseiras, com a cozinha e sala em open space, e ainda a casa de banho acessível e quarto virado para a rua. No piso 1 situam-se mais dois quartos e uma casa de banho.

A confrontação com a rua é feita através de ripado e murete em cor contrastante com a fachada, permitindo criar alguma privacidade, ao mesmo tempo que não se bloqueia totalmente a luz. O maior desafio neste projeto foi o de integrar o desenho da fachada na envolvente próxima, marcada pela sua heterogeneidade. A moradia segue, assim, os alinhamentos visuais da construção vizinha, tendo-se optado por manter a simplicidade do alçado, marcando apenas as linhas horizontais dos vãos.

Housing Project, Guifões

The project for a house is located on one of the last vacant lots in the Guifões subdivision, Matosinhos, in a low-density residential area. The house’s layout follows the subdivision’s planned alignment, where the houses are slightly set back from the street, creating an outdoor courtyard at the front of the lot and a courtyard at the back.

The house is organized in two floors. On the ground floor are the social areas, open-plan kitchen and living room, with direct access to the garden at the back, as well as the accessible bathroom and the bedroom facing the street. On the first floor are two more bedrooms and a bathroom.

The street front has a low wall with slats in a contrasting color to the facade, allowing for some privacy while not completely blocking the sunlight. The biggest challenge in this project was integrating the facade design with the surroundings, which are characterized by their heterogeneity. The house therefore follows the visual alignment of the neighboring building and the facade was designed to be clean and simple, marking only the horizontal lines of the openings.
